ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Researchers, professionals, and students are invited to submit abstracts presenting original work related to the topics of the International Conference on Hydrogen Horizons (ICH2 2026). The conference aims to showcase the latest advances across the hydrogen value chain and to promote dialogue between academia, industry, and policy stakeholders.
All abstracts must be prepared using the official ICH2 abstract template and submitted through the online submission form.

PRESENTATION TYPES
ICH2 2026 will include two types of scientific presentations:

Oral Presentations
_ 15 minutes presentation + 5 minutes discussion
_ Oral presentations must be delivered in English

Poster Presentations
_ Posters will be displayed during dedicated poster sessions, providing opportunities for discussion and interaction with participants.
During the submission process, authors must indicate their preferred presentation format:

The Scientific Committee will make the final decision regarding the presentation format based on the review process and the structure of the conference programme.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Abstracts must be prepared using the ICH2 abstract template and submitted in Word format (.doc or .docx).

Abstract length: maximum 2 pages

Abstracts must follow the formatting guidelines provided in the template.

Submissions that do not comply with the template requirements may be rejected.

Authors should submit their abstracts through the online submission system.

BOOK OF ABSTRACTS
Accepted abstracts will be compiled and published in the ICH2 2026 Book of Abstracts, which will be made available to conference participants.
The Book of Abstracts will be assigned an ISBN, providing a permanent record of the scientific contributions presented at the conference.
PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES
ICH2 2026 is pleased to announce a collaboration with the journal Hydrogen (MDPI) for the publication of the Special Issue:
“Hydrogen Horizons: Advances in Hydrogen Technologies and Systems from ICH2 2026”
Following the conference, authors will have the opportunity to submit extended versions of their contributions for consideration in the Special Issue, subject to the journal’s standard peer-review process.
Special conditions for ICH2 2026 participants include:

AWARDS
To recognize outstanding scientific contributions presented at the conference, ICH2 2026 will present awards for the best oral and poster presentations.
Best Oral Presentation Award
This award will be granted to the author of the most outstanding oral presentation delivered during the conference. The evaluation will consider the scientific quality of the work, originality, clarity of the presentation, and relevance to the conference topics.
Best Poster Award
This award will recognize the poster that best demonstrates scientific excellence, innovation, and effective communication of the research results.
Hydrogen (MDPI) Best Paper Award
As part of the collaboration between ICH2 2026 and the journal Hydrogen (MDPI), a Best Paper Award sponsored by the journal will also be presented. The award includes a prize of 300 CHF.
All awards will be evaluated by members of the Scientific Committee and will be announced during the closing session of the conference. Further details regarding the evaluation criteria will be provided closer to the event.
