PROGRAMME
The programme of the International Conference on Hydrogen Horizons (ICH2) is designed to combine the presentation of the main results of the H2 Green Valley Agenda with broader scientific and technical discussions on hydrogen technologies and applications.
This structure will allow participants to engage both with the outcomes of the H2 Green Valley Agenda and with wider national and international perspectives on hydrogen production, transport, distribution and storage, end uses, safety, public policy, and research and innovation.

Over four days, the conference will include keynote lectures, technical sessions, poster presentations, thematic discussions, round-table debate, networking moments, and technical visits, creating opportunities for knowledge-sharing, interdisciplinary exchange, and collaboration among researchers, industry representatives, public authorities, and other stakeholders.
The first day of the conference will be dedicated to technical visits, offering participants the opportunity to gain direct insight into industrial facilities and R&D infrastructures connected to green hydrogen.

The second day will place a stronger emphasis on the H2 Green Valley Agenda, opening with an overview session and partner contributions highlighting key results and developments across the Agenda. The afternoon will broaden the discussion to public policy, ecosystem challenges, hydrogen strategies, and research and innovation challenges, creating a programme that is relevant to the scientific community, alongside industrial and institutional stakeholders.

On the third and fourth days, the conference programme will combine special sessions related to the H2 Green Valley Agenda with parallel scientific sessions addressing key themes across the hydrogen value chain. In this way, Agenda-related developments will be placed in dialogue with broader scientific discussion.
Indicative thematic areas include:
-
Day 1 – Technical visits to industrial and R&D facilities related to green hydrogen

-
Day 2 – H2 Green Valley Agenda overview and partner contributions, followed by sessions on public policy, ecosystem challenges, hydrogen strategies, and research and innovation challenges, setting the stage for discussions of interest to the scientific, industrial, and institutional communities

-
Day 3 – Morning special session linked to the H2 Green Valley Agenda, followed by scientific sessions addressing major challenges and opportunities across the hydrogen value chain; afternoon special session focused on H2g Backbone and H2g Blend, followed by parallel scientific sessions reflecting the breadth of the conference themes

-
Day 4 – Morning special session focused on H2g Village, followed by scientific sessions related to downstream applications and value-chain integration; afternoon special session focused on H2g Research, followed by parallel scientific sessions addressing research, innovation, and emerging developments in hydrogen technologies
The final programme will be announced in due course and will reflect the conference’s dual ambition: to showcase the achievements of the H2 Green Valley Agenda and to promote high-level scientific discussion on the future of hydrogen across the full value chain.
